You want to write a book but you don’t know where to start, are overwhelmed by the creative process, or don’t have much spare time to figure it all out by yourself.

You’re not alone. Even after graduating with a Bachelors Degree in English Literature and Creative Writing – I still had so much to learn about the writing process and becoming an author. I couldn’t believe how much I had to navigate within the creative process and the publishing world.

I learned that authors come from all walks of life, each having their own purpose for writing a book along with their own personal gauge for measuring success. And what I discovered about writing books in the thick of my author journey wasn’t taught on my degree. As much as education is paramount for a solid foundation and having confidence in your field, the real journey begins when you’ve left campus and you’re on the road to discovery.

I’ve written and published four books and have written two teaching programmes for beginners or well-practised writers uncovering the method and techniques that you need to write a book with purpose, connection and wisdom.

Luckily, my background in marketing and copy writing gave me insight into writing styles, purposes and audience. Over 7 years, I immersed myself into a writing practice, the creative process and the deeply personal advice shared amongst authors – write what you know. During this journey, I uncovered the secret, and so on this basis, I developed a method that every aspiring author, beginner writer, and even those who don’t consider themselves writers can follow with ease and success.

I wanted to share what I’d discovered because I know first hand how difficult this journey can be. The Author Programme – Be the Hero of Your Story follows a method that will help you determine your value in writing a book, the value in the story you have to share, its purpose – to both you and your reader – as well as offering a step-by-step guide that will help you get your book written with ease.

For those interested in novel writing, I created The Author Programme – Creative Writing. This course will dive into all the techniques used amongst novelists, past and present. It will shine a light on genre, technique and the publishing world.

The reason I felt empowered and purposeful to write both of these programmes is because the world needs more people to share their stories. We all need to connect more. We all need to realise our strengths, so that we can show that in our world, we’re the hero of our story.
